Slavery is not something, which happens only to the others.

Today, modern slavery affects an estimated 50 million people worldwide, including forced labor, human trafficking, debt bondage, forced marriage, and descent-based slavery. Our courses examine how these hidden crimes persist and what drives their continuation.

We aim to understand these mechanisms to promote prevention, protection, and justice. Through interdisciplinary research and engagement, we seek actionable solutions to dismantle the conditions that allow force labour to persist in the modern world.
